Mr. Atkinson joined Hetherington Group in 2014. He is responsible for all business operations at Hg, conference planning, and liaising with government officials, law enforcement, corporate executives, and private investigators on developing Hg’s training seminars and continuing education accreditations and certifications. He is responsible for the management and administration of the annual OSMOSIS Conference, where hundreds of investigators across the nation gain insights into Open Source Intelligence and receive training from the most recognized social media and open source experts in North America.
Mr. Atkinson served on the West Milford Volunteer Fire Company #1 in New Jersey as Captain, Treasurer, and Relief and Exempt Trustee for eleven years. As a British citizen, Mr. Atkinson served as Enquiry Center Adviser & Coordinator at Her Majesty’s Revenue & Customs, where he was responsible for intuiting and managing complex investigations, and served as an Infantry Soldier in the British Army Reserve.
Mr. Atkinson holds a diploma in Bookkeeping and Accounts from the International Correspondence School. In 2019, he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Columbia Southern University. In 2020, he became a Certified Professional with the Society of Human Resource Management.
